Financial support is also needed to continue and develop ministries in the following areas:
Educational (Degreed teachers are used) & Mentorship Programs
Children
- Tutorial program
- Assist with the purchase of school supplies, uniforms, lunch, rewards for good academic performance, and transportation (many drop out at 13 and 14 years old because they can’t afford transportation).
- Educational activities such as games that test academic and bible knowledge where kids are awarded prizes for their knowledge
Teens
- Prepare academically for college
- Provide scholarships
- Assist with purchase of school supplies, uniforms, lunch, rewards for good academic performance, and transportation
Mentorship
- Teach respect for authority, how to deal with life challenges and bullying and school challenges
Goal Setting
- Long-term and short-term life goals for all ages
Finance Program
- Interviewing and getting a job
- Budgeting and saving money
- Financial planning
Food and Nutritional Program
- Teach the importance of eating well-balanced meals
- Provide meals after children’s ministry on Saturdays, and meals after various Sunday services, holiday food drives, and various other dates such as children’s birthdays.
- Establishment of a food bank
Missionary Training – I have been in the Philippines since February of 2016 and want to utilize my experience to train others
- Establish a future ministry to travel to various countries and train individuals what to expect in terms of cultural differences and how to avoid danger as a missionary.
- Teach leadership, obedience to the spirit of God, discipleship training, the purpose of mission work, and lead people to salvation through prayer.
Medical, dental and clothing assistance
- Set up dental appointments for kids and teens (the children’s teeth are badly decayed)
- Set up medical for kids and teens
- Assist in buying medication for kids, teens, and seniors
- Visit sick and shut-in
- Provide clothing for the poor
